Hohner Tango, German produce from app. 1930. No basses. A typical tango orchestral instrument from the early days of popularity. In order to meet the people's hunger for the accordion sound, instruments were produced for the pianists of the salon orchestras. Naturally they were not familiar with the standard bass manual so the instruments were produced without basses for orchestral accompaniment “only”.
